We start with a visit to the Skotino Cave, sacred to the goddess Artemis, where you can explore fascinating natural formations free of charge. Then, enjoy an exciting off-road drive through scenic landscapes.
Next, we stop in the charming village of Smari, offering free time for a stroll or coffee in a traditional setting. Nearby, the refreshing natural springs of Astritsi await to delight your senses.
Our tour continues to the village of Stironas, home to a family-run raki and wine distillery with a rich multi-generational history. Here, visit the Cretan culture museum, taste local raki and wine accompanied by small snacks, and browse authentic products like honey, raki, and wine available for purchase.
Lunch is served in a warm, family-run Kafeneio, where you can choose from chicken, pork, or vegetarian dishes. Local wine and water are included, while soft drinks such as cola and beer are available for an additional cost.
The highlight of the day is the ascent to Mount Juktas (over 1000 m above sea level), offering breathtaking panoramic views stretching from Heraklion to Hersonissos — a perfect spot for photos and reflection.
